2007 Peugeot 207 S2000
The 207 Super 2000 fired into life for the first time, watched by Bruno Famin, Technical Manager of Peugeot Sport and Bertrand Vallat, Project Manager for the 207 Super 2000. It now follows in the footsteps of the other great Peugeot Rally cars of old, such as the 205 T16 and the all conquering 206 WRC, winner of three world rally championships and a total of 65 podiums.
Born from the workshops of Peugeot Sport, the 207 continues consistent development and began its first test at the 2006 Rally of Antibes with Gilles Panizzi at the wheel.
An exceptional occasion of meeting of test life size in true configuration of race and total conformity with the Super regulation 2000. Engine 2 liters developing 280 horses, gear box sequential with 6 speeds, 4 driving wheels, the 207 Super 2000 posts a weight of 1100 kilos.
Gilles Panizzi, one of the pilots of development of the 207 will be copilot, for this rally of Antibes, by the Monegasque Freddy Delorme. Of 3 days return of tests in Italy, the 207 Super 2000 will thus make its very first appearance with Antibes and will take part then, of November 3, with the Condroz rally in Belgium with this time Bryan Bouffier. That Ci also present at Antibes but at the wheel of Super Peugeot 206 1600 will be engaged by Peugeot Spain.
