The Rimac Nevera is earning a lot of hype in the automotive world now and it rightfully so as it has already proven itself a couple of times already by setting new world records in the last couple of months. But in this video courtesy of carwow, we get to see it in a drag race yet again but this time it won’t be facing two high-performance bikes, instead it takes on a twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan that puts down 1,800 horsepower.
This Lamborghini Huracan has been modified by JM Imports and it boasts a fully built 5.2-liter V10 engine that delivers an astonishing 1,775 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque. In addition to engine modifications, the supercar boasts a custom-built dual-clutch transmission and reinforced axle shafts to handle the immense torque.
In contrast, the Nevera maintains its power advantage as an all-electric hypercar with four electric motors, providing all-wheel drive and advanced torque vectoring. It boasts a total power output of 1,914 HP and a maximum torque of 2,360 Nm. However, the Rimac Nevera carries a significant weight, tipping the scales at approximately 5,070 pounds, primarily due to its sizable 120 kWh battery, making it heavier than the Lamborghini, which weighs 3,638 pounds.
With all that said, will the 1800 hp Lambo Huracan and its weight advantage be enough to beat the mighty Rimac Nevera? Watch the video to find out!
