Watch the Koenigsegg Jesko Set a New Lap Record Around Laguna Seca

Lapped the iconic track in 1 minute 24.86 seconds

Laguna Seca is one of the most famous racetrack in the world, located in California, USA.

Recently, the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack set a new lap record on this iconic track, completing it in 1 minute 24.86 seconds. This achievement beats the previous record set by the Czinger 21C in 2021 by just 0.58 seconds, making the Jesko Attack the fastest homologated production car ever at Laguna Seca.

Notably, this was the Jesko’s first time at Laguna Seca, meaning that Koenigsegg had no prior data or experience on this track, and their test driver, Markus Lundh, had never driven on it before.

The Jesko Attack is a specially tuned variant of the Koenigsegg Jesko, optimized for maximum performance on the track rather than focusing solely on top speed. It features a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that, when fueled with E85, produces an impressive 1,600 horsepower.
