A World Touring Car Racer for the Road
We’ve reported on the Lync & Co 03 Cyan Concept before, but now the car is testing in Spain. The 03 Cyan Concept is the new road legal version of the touring car racing machine. Lync & Co will bring its car’s prowess to the everyday pavement. The car boasts 528 hp and 372 lb-ft of torque thanks to its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It’s going to be a force to be reckoned with.
In the video below, the car is seen testing on the curvy Spanish roads and on some Spanish racetracks. A Swedish man provides a heartfelt voice-over that discusses the philosophy of the brand and what the car is really about. All the while, the 03 Cyan Concept is racing around and looking darn good while it does it.
Cyan Racing is what Polestar used to be. It’s the racing arm of Geely, and the 03 Cyan Concept is taking the new development of that team to a new level. The car will continue testing and improving. While it’s a concept car at the moment, Lync & Co will definitely build a production version of the car. We can’t wait for it.
According to Carscoops, the vehicle will continue testing at various locations in Europe. The company hinted that the next big racetrack the car will test at is the Nurburgring in Germany. We hope Lync & Co will put together a video of the car taking on the ‘Ring as it did for the car’s time spent in Spain.
