Hennessey and popular YouTuber Shmee150 recently released an exhilarating video featuring a showdown between the monstrous Ram 1500 TRX Mammoth 1200 and the Ford GT.
The Ram 1500 TRX Mammoth 1200 is equipped with a potent 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, upgraded with a new supercharger, custom pulleys, enhanced spark plugs, and an ECU tune. This beast generates a staggering 1,200 horsepower and utilizes an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission paired with all-wheel drive.
In contrast, the Ford GT features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost engine that produces 647 horsepower. Although it has less power, the Ford GT’s advantage lies in its lightweight construction, tipping the scales at just 3,054 pounds (1,385 kilograms). This is significantly lighter than the Ram 1500 TRX, which has an estimated curb weight of 6,443 pounds (2,922 kilograms), more than double the weight of the GT.
