The Germans are a very interesting bunch. They are friendly, helpful, have good beer and great food.
But they are also driven by precision. Everything about them is precise, from their public transit through to their race drivers.
With that in mind, watch German race driver and occasional TV presenter Tim Schrick precisely show you exactly what a 2020 Type 992 911 Turbo S can do…
Note: The video is in German, however you can turn on subtitles and set them to auto-translate to English.
Driving around Bilster Berg, one of Germany’s premiere motorsports resorts, Tim puts the Turbo S through its paces.
The first few laps are your basic “here’s how the car handles” type of commentaries, but the fun starts once he kicks the car sideways on the throttle at 2 minutes and 31 seconds. Into a drift. That lasts the entirety of a long left handed corner.
This is so much fun for him, that most of the rest of the video is him throwing in some absolutely insane angles.
Some of them look like the car might even start to loop around, but then, using just the steering and the throttle combined with the dynamic all wheel drive, he pulls straight and launches down the road.
It may be in German, but it also shows you what you can do with a new 911 Turbo S and a track all to yourself. Let’s see a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Evo do half of what Tim does in this video!
