VR’s Annis to “Confess” at Classic Auto Show

Casey Annis, publisher/editor of Vintage Racecar/Vintage Roadcar, will be speaking this Sunday at the inaugural Classic Auto Show in the South Hall of the L.A. Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles, at 11:30 a.m. Titled “Confessions of an Historic Test Driver” he will discuss a handful of incredible racing cars that he has had the privilege to test drive over the past 20 years, revealing the best, worst, most frightening and most expensive machines he has sampled. Even better, some of them will be on display at the show, which runs from Friday through Sunday this weekend.

Some of the cars to be discussed include: a 1971 Tyrrell 002-Ford; a 1960 Maserati Birdcage; a 1952 Mercedes-Benz W194 Le Mans winner; a 1991 Eagle-Toyota GTP; and a 1974 Shadow DN4-Chevrolet (above).
