VIDEO: Straight-Piped Supercars Drag Race

For decades, high-revving, naturally aspirated supercars have been the heart and soul of automotive passion. Cars like the Ferrari F50, Lexus LFA, and Porsche Carrera GT showcased raw, mechanical symphonies, creating an unforgettable driving experience. With modern emissions regulations forcing manufacturers toward turbocharging and hybridization, the days of these naturally aspirated, straight-piped monsters are numbered. That makes moments like this Carwow drag race even more special—a tribute to the golden era of unfiltered sound and performance.

Carwow assembled four of the loudest modern supercars, each fitted with a Gintani exhaust, in a location with no noise restrictions. The lineup includes a Porsche 911 GT3, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Lamborghini Revuelto, and Lamborghini Aventador SV.

The Lamborghini Aventador SV is powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 producing 750 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque, sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed robotized manual gearbox. The Lamborghini Revuelto, its modern hybrid successor, pairs a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors, delivering 1,015 horsepower and 1,162 Nm of torque through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Ferrari 812 Superfast runs a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 with 800 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque, driving only the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Porsche 911 GT3, the only six-cylinder in the lineup, features a 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six pushing 510 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox driving the rear wheels.
