Onboard Video of RUF RT12 at Nurburgring

This is one of our favorite Nurburgring videos. Watch closely and the sheer speed that the RUF RT12 carries through some of the faster corners is sheer insanity. No slip, no slide, this car is seriously quick and stable.

We also love the sound of the wastegates as soon as the turbos come on boost, it is music to our automotive ears.

For those who aren’t familiar, the RT12 was RUF’s newest product in 2005. It is designed for high end performance and every day use. Twin turbo engines are RUFs specialty, and since 1977, they have proven it is the next evolutionary step for the 911.

Three different performance options are available for the RT 12: 530 bhp, 560 bhp and 650 bhp. The 650 bhp 3.8 liter engine is new in construction, one which sets a new benchmark in performance and is fully adjustable by means of a wastegate
