Video Roundup: Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose, Jaguar XJ220, McLaren GT, and More

These Are The Videos you Should Watch to End Your Week

We’ve decided to do a video roundup series of the best YouTube videos. We fell off last week but now we’re back on it and ready to pull together the best videos out there. This week we’ve found videos on two amazing Jaguars from two different channels, a close-up look at the McLaren GT, a walkaround of a Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose, and a look at the Lamborghini Diablo. All of these cars are impressive.

Doug DeMuro Looks at the Jaguar XJ220

Doug DeMuro has reviewed all sorts of cars but he claims that the XJ220 is one of his favorites of all time. He says he likes it because it’s such a weird supercar. The vehicle has a storied history with a past marred by not meeting expectations. The vehicle was the fastest car in the world for a short period of time, but even with that being the case, the car had trouble selling. DeMuro comes across many oddities while doing his review, and it’s an entertaining look at an iconic car. Prices for these only continue to climb as collectors begin to realize how important the car is.

Carfection Reviews the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Touring

Alex Goy of Carfection takes a look at the new Jaguar XE SVProject 8. The car pushes out 600 hp thanks to a 5.0-liter V8 engine and is quicker and more capable than the new Audi RS6 and the BMW M3. The car is a limited-edition car and only 300 of the cars will be made. Goy has a chance to get behind the wheel of the Project 8 to show the world what the car is really like. Specifically, he drives the touring version of the car, which is a version that’s just a bit more civilized with a rear wing delete and a posh interior.

AutomotiveAffairs Checks Out King Hussein’s 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose

The guys over at AutomotiveAffairs recently had a chance to check out a 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose. This isn’t just any Slantnose, however, the car was formerly owned by King Hussein of Jordan. The car is a unique piece of automotive history with fewer than 1,000 versions of this car being made. Tomini Classics let the reviewer do a detailed walkaround of the car and then get out on the road to give the vehicle his thoughts.

Carwow Tours the McLaren GT

Carwow, the car buying and selling website produces some high-quality videos and Matt Watson has become one of our favorite car reviewers on YouTube lately. This time he gets up close and personal with the new McLaren GT. The GT is a special car and different from other GT cars out there Matt goes into how the new car varies from the competition and how it is different from the rest of the McLaren lineup.

Harry’s Garage Gets Excited About a 1991 Lamborghini Diablo

Finally, we have Harry’s Garage. One of the best YouTube channels out there from a guy that’s been in the business for many years. This time he looks at the Lamborghini Diablo and discusses why it’s such an important car, specifically the one that he’s filming in this video. The Diablo is unlike other Lamborghinis and this video shows you exactly why that’s the case.
