In 2017, Lamborghini commemorated the 100th birthday of its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, by unveiling the LP 770-4 Centenario. This model joins the ranks of previous limited editions like the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, and the stunning Veneno. Each special edition builds upon Lamborghini’s highest performing models, and the Centenario takes the Aventador to unprecedented heights of style and performance.
Constructed entirely from carbon fiber, every piece of the Centenario is designed with aerodynamics in mind, enhancing its dramatic presence. The Aventador’s V12 engine has been upgraded to deliver an astounding 770 horsepower, making the Centenario one of the most powerful Lamborghinis to date. This power, combined with advanced aerodynamics, enables the Centenario to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
To ensure superior handling, the Centenario is equipped with a new rear-wheel-steering system that enhances maneuverability and stability. This system adapts in real-time to the selected driving mode—Strada, Sport, or Corsa—offering a tailored driving experience. The carbon-fiber cabin introduced a new infotainment system with a 10.1″ screen displaying telemetry, driving data, and maximum speeds. Only 40 units were produced: 20 coupés and 20 roadsters, all pre-sold to VIP customers.
This particular Centenario roadster finished in its signature matte grey color, was delivered in Switzerland via Lamborghini St. Galen (Hirsch AG) and registered on 21st December 2017. Exclusivity defined the Centenario, with ownership often changing hands among a select few.
The car has extensive documentation, including service estimates from Lamborghini Riyadh, an EEC Certificate of Conformity, Saudi registration copies, and importation paperwork. Complete with all original books and an unused tire inflator, this Centenario with 505 kilometers on the odometer presents a rare opportunity to own one of Lamborghini’s most exclusive supercars.
Bidding for this ultra-rare Lamborghini supercar is scheduled to take place on June 30 as part of Bonhams Cars’ fifth Bonmont Sale and is expected to fetch more than $3.3 million USD during the auction.
