The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, equipped with a formidable 1,200 bhp quad-turbo W-16 engine and open-top design, saw only 92 units produced towards the end of its production.
It boasted a top speed of 255 mph (410 km/h), making it the fastest roadster of its time. Bugatti engineers reinforced the chassis to handle its power and speed, enhancing performance by minimizing body roll.
This particular Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, among the final Veyrons manufactured, stands as a unique specimen, customized with Transformers-themed elements both inside and out, as per the original owner’s preference.
Inspired by the owner’s love for the Transformers movies, the car showcases a livery honoring the franchise, displayed in its paintwork and various other details. Finished in light blue with complementing blue carbon fiber accents, it features clear taillights and diamond-cut wheels.
The exterior theme extends into the interior, characterized by a matching two-tone blue and black leather upholstery, Bugatti’s Sport Comfort seats, and blue contrasting stitching. A Transformers logo is integrated between the seats, reflecting the car’s exterior design. Originally, the headrests bore the original owner’s first name, “Daniel,” but these were later retrimmed to remove the name.
This unique Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse ‘Transformers’ is set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s auction on May 1-3, with only 5,200 km (3,231 miles) on the odometer.
