Tony Adamowicz

His nickname was always “Tony A-to-Z,” in part because his last name was Adamowicz, but in larger part because his racing career covered everything from Volvo sedans to Indycars and Ferrari sports racers. In remembrance of Tony’s recent passing and this issue’s Ferrari theme, we pay tribute by sharing some of Tony Adamowicz’s conversations with Editor Casey Annis about his career and his time driving Ferraris.

Your professional career really started in the early days of the Trans-Am and then flourished in FA/F5000. How did you make the transition from Trans-Am to F5000?
