This week in Supercars

The past week has been good to us. We’ve had the NY Auto Show as well as two very exciting cars coming from the tuning side of things. Easily the hottest of them is Ruf’s new CTR3 which was released today at the Bahrain Circuit. Besides the impressive 700 bhp engine, the Cayman chassis is so extensively modified it is being billed as entirely new.

On the other side of the world, Abt have been the first of many tuners that will follow their footsteps in modifying Audi’s R8. The new car packs a supercharged kick that punts it past the idle sports car it once was. Until the RS8 get released, with it’s 600BHP V10, this Abt will have to be the next best option.

We also clean up the remaining bits from NY and include the BMW M3 which should have been present:

2007 Ruf CTR3
2007 Abt R8
2007 Honda S2000 CR Concept
2008 Subaru Impreza WRX
2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series
2008 BMW M3
