This 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie Will Fetch $3 Million at Auction

One of only 150 units produced

Developed in partnership with Red Bull Racing, the Valkyrie was designed to be as close to an F1 car as possible while remaining street-legal. Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s technical director, played a key role in its design. Aston Martin’s claim that the Valkyrie pushes engineering boundaries is evident, as the car’s development was a lengthy and challenging process.

First conceived in 2014, the Valkyrie prototype was unveiled in 2016, with its dynamic debut in 2019 at Silverstone. It wasn’t until November 2021 though that the first customer car was completed, reflecting the complexity of the task. Each of the 150 cars built was hand-assembled, requiring 2,000 man-hours.

The Valkyrie’s performance is staggering, with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 engine producing 1,000 horsepower and an additional 140 hp from its hybrid system. Acceleration is blistering, reaching 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and a top speed over 400 km/h. Its lightweight design, with no steel components and an emphasis on aerodynamics, further enhances its F1-like performance, making it a true hypercar.

A stunning 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé is set to be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s Dubai auction on December 1, with an estimated value of up to $3 million USD. This particular car features a striking Lunar White exterior with red accents, a gloss carbon roof, and a Pure Black Alcantara interior with Spicy Red stitching. What makes this Aston Martin Valkyrie truly enticing is that it has only covered just 109 kilometers since new, offering a remarkable opportunity for enthusiasts to own a virtually new masterpiece.
