Launch Should Occur in Late 2020
Rimac’s C-Two has been lurking in the background of many supercar buyers and enthusiasts’ minds for some time now. The car should be the most extreme Rimac yet. Now the company has a prototype that it has released pictures of. The company is currently testing and refining its driving dynamics, according to Carscoops.
The company hasn’t fully refined the vehicle yet. Rimac will take it to the Nardò Technical Centre in Italy. From there the car is supposed to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March. From there, the vehicle will launch officially in Late 2020. The prototype is the first time the company has shared the car outside of the C_Two Concept that it revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018.
We do know what powertrain will be in the car. It’ll feature a 120 kWh battery pack and four electric motors. All told, the powertrain should put out 1,888 hp and 1,696 lb-ft of torque. Power will go to all four wheels. That powertrain should make the car good for a 0-60 mph time of 1.85 seconds and give it the ability to reach a top speed of 258 mph.
The C_Two will be a force to be reckoned with when it comes out. Until then, you’ll have to enjoy the images of the prototype and think about how awesome the car will be, come launch time.
