The McLaren GT is a special kind of grand touring car, and you can’t grand tour without luggage. The car has uniquely shaped luggage areas, so it’s a little tough to just fit regular luggage in there. That’s when you turn back to McLaren. The company has you covered with a special McLaren GT set of luggage.
Crafted by McLaren Special Operations team, the luggage set is all that your impressive GT needs to have. It features special bags specifically crafted to fit in the cargo holds (there’s storage upfront and in the rear). McLaren’s GT offers up to just over 20 cubic feet of cargo space in total.
The MSO team managed to make four different items for GT customers. There’s a full-size golf bag, a weekend bag, a cabin bag, and a garment bag. McLaren decided to showcase all of these bags at Pebble Beach. The bags are hand-made in Italy and made of the same supple semi-aniline leather that’s found in the car. The stitching pattern is also the same as in the car.
The collection will be available globally in September of this year. The cheapest bag of the collection is the garment bag at about $2,080. The most expensive is the golf bag at about $6,105. If you bought all of the collection, you’d be in almost $14,000.
