During the production of the Lamborghini Gallardo, the predecessor of the Huracan, we’ve seen a lot of different variations being released by Automobili Lamborghini SpA, starting with the SE, for Special Edition, going over the very special Gallardo Superleggera, but things changed considerably when the LP560-4 evolution came out, which led to the magnificent Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera and her convertible counterpart, the Gallardo LP570-4 Performante.
But one of the most radical editions built during the Gallardo production span had to be the Super Trofeo Stradale, a modified version of the LP570-4 Superleggera, but now featuring the high, carbon fiber rear wing and the special engine cover, both derived from the original Gallardo Super Trofeo race car, but would this STS be the ultimate Gallardo, or would that honor go to the Gallardo Squadra Corse, one of the final evolutions?
