There’s Good Reason to Believe These Rumors
Several Ferrari owners chatting on Ferrari Chat reported that the Spider version of the Ferrari 812 Superfast will debut in September. According to the users, invitations to the reveal of the car have already been sent out. This information was first reported on by CarSales and then spread across the web.
The unveiling will be a private one at the company headquarters in Maranello. Ferrari has not confirmed this information, but it is not surprising. The company has a plan to build five new cars soon, and we’ve seen two. The reveal of a convertible 812 Superfast this year would be on track with the plans the company has said it has.
According to the information provided by the Ferrari Chat users, the convertible version of the car won’t be a limited edition. The automaker will make the vehicle at a higher volume than originally speculated. The rumor is the car will come with a price tag roughly $45,000 over the price of the coupe. That puts the price of the vehicle right around $400,000.
There isn’t much information otherwise. Previous rumors have indicated that the convertible 812 Superfast would have a hardtop and not a soft-top roof. That would make sense for the car. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any additional information.
