The 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback Revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Audi Looks to Have a Winner

The Frankfurt Motor Show has had some winners appear at it. One that stands out to us is the Audi RS7 Sportback. As TheSupercarBlog calls it, the RS7 Sportback is what you get if you take the RS6 Avant and put it in the sleeker Sportback body. The publication is not wrong. The RS7 Sportback is an aggressive and beautiful car with the specs to back up its looks.

Under the hood is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with a mild-hybrid powertrain. All told, power numbers are 591 hp and 690 lb-ft of torque. The car is a fast four-door option to anyone who needs a practical car but wants sports car power, speed, and handling.

Speaking of handling, the standard adaptive air suspension is standard. If you want something a little more sporting, you can opt for the RS Sport suspension and Dynamic Ride Control. This should help you make the most of that powertrain which can propel the car to a top speed of 155 mph. With the Dynamic and Dynamic Plus packages that number goes up to 174 mph and 189 mph respectively.

Audi doesn’t have a price yet for the car. It will launch early in 2020, and you can expect the company to release pricing details closer to the car’s launch date.
