Automodello 1981 “Pepsi Challenger” & “White Castle” Eagles
Dan Gurney ended his driving career after 1970 and turned his attention to his All American Racers team. Beginning in 1966, AAR had designed competitive Indy and F1 cars simultaneously. Dan’s win at 1967 Grand Prix of Belgium in an Eagle Gurney-Weslake V12 remains the only time that an American citizen won a GP with a car of his own construction. In 1981 the Pepsi Challenger Eagle scored a single victory with its “Boundary Layer Adhesion Technology” before it was banned, but that car remains Dan’s favorite Eagle of all time. Officially licensed by AAR, Automodello has created in 1:43 the Chevrolet-powered Pepsi Eagle, hand-signed by Dan Gurney or Geoff Brabham, and the Cosworth-powered White Castle car as driven by Chip Mead. Dan Gurney signed $194.95
Geoff Brabham signed or White Castle $159.95
