Indycars were among the stars at the Concorso, including Gordon Johncock’s Eagle and Al Unser Jr.’s Penske. Mixed in the line of more traditional British sports cars was this very pretty 1959 Elva Courier MK1 owned by Ben Cohen. Maserati, celebrating its centennial, was a featured marque. The most stunning Maser was this 1938 Maserati 8CTF Boyle Special Indy racecar from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation. Craig Burchsted’s 1965 Innocenti Spyder (foreground) was certainly more unusual than the Mini, but not nearly as rare as the Woodill Wildfire next to the Mini.
