RM Sothebys at Villa Erba

Just minutes ago RM Sotheby’s concluded their Villa Erba sale which is held in conjunction with the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Of the three main Ferraris on offer only the Ferrari 212 Export realized a sale at €6,720,000. This is a record for the 212 Export model which shares its lineage with the iconic 166 Barchetta.

The other spectacular 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione did not sell for €9,100,000 and 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider 2505 GT did not sell for €10,250,000.

Limited to just 36 cars, only the best examples were presented which realized top prices in the market. Ferrari supercars including the 288 GTO, Ferrari F40, Ferrari F50 and Ferrari Enzo all sold for above €1,00,000.
