The Rimac Nevera remains the fastest-accelerating production car and holds the highest verified top speed among electric vehicles. Its latest accomplishment occurred at the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb course, where it emerged as the fastest electric production car to take on the challenge as well as being the quickest overall production car this year.
Miro Zrncevic Mrgud, the driver of the Rimac Nevera electric hypercar, completed the track in 49.32 seconds. This time not only set the record for the fastest production car at the Goodwood Hillclimb but also for the fastest production electric car ever.
Despite the intimidating nature of the narrow hill at Goodwood with its tight corners and exposed sections, the Nevera conquered the track successfully. This feat was made possible by its in-house developed all-electric powertrain, advanced battery system, and software from the Rimac Group.
