Retromobile

Over the weekend, Retromobile opened its doors to showcase almost everything vintage at the Porte de Versailles in Paris. All the great French marques were present and most of them had at least a couple examples of their best models.

While not quite vintage, the supercar quota was filled by a very rare Monte Carlo GTB, a McLaren F1 GTR and the sole 1999 Heuliez Pregunta Concept!

Much speculation before the show was centered on the Auto Union Type-D which Christies was going to auction as ‘the most expensive car ever offered’. Unfortuntely, it was pulled from the sale, but was still on display around the other lots. Top bid went to an ex-LeMans Talbot T26 GS which was followed up by a meticulous Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet.

Many thanks are due to Florian who relentlessly captured the entire show for our feature gallery. More of his exceptional work can be found at passionsupercar.com.
