On October 12, Broad Arrow Auctions will be auctioning a 2022 Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition, valued between $1,200,000 and $1,500,000. This particular model, one of only 30 Alan Mann Heritage Editions, was created to honor the lightweight experimental race cars of 1966 developed by Alan Mann Racing. The car is offered with just 20 miles on the odometer.
The Alan Mann Heritage Edition pays tribute to the 1966 lightweight Ford GT prototypes, highlighting Alan Mann Racing’s legacy. Known for its red and gold livery, Alan Mann Racing’s experimental prototypes played a key role in the Ford GT’s development.
The Heritage Edition replicates these colors with an Alan Mann Red exterior, gold and white accents, and the number 16 displayed on the doors, hood, and rear wing. Gloss carbon fiber elements, such as the 20-inch wheels and rear diffuser, along with black Brembo calipers featuring red graphics, complete the design. Inside, the Alan Mann Heritage Edition showcases a carbon fiber interior, with Ebony Alcantara-wrapped seats and gold and red stitching.
Powering the Ford GT is a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine, producing 660 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque. It delivers an exceptional 183 horsepower per liter, paired with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. The car features a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from Getrag, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and a top speed of 216 mph.
The car’s single owner originally purchased it in 2022 from Pat Millikan Ford in Redford, Michigan, and it comes with various exclusive items like production photos, its factory charger, and paperwork detailing its delivery and purchase.
