So what do you do when you own two of the fastest cars on the planet? Just ask the guys from The Triple F Collection who own a series of amazing hypercars … and since they just took delivery of the Rimac Nevera recently, which happened to have been delivered to their private museum by none other than Mate Rimac himself, they felt it was time to put it against another great, but old-school hypercar, the 1,600 hp Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, which happens to have a matching torque figure of 1,600 Nm and a top speed of 273 Mph.
But then we compare the figures for their Rimac Nevera: 1,914 hp but an astonishing 2,360 Nm of torque, although the top speed is ‘only’ 258 Mph … but get this, the acceleration figures from 0 to 60 are 2.3 seconds for the Bugatti vs just 1.74 seconds for the Rimac, and it gets even more impressive, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) takes the Bugatti 12.1 seconds while the Rimac does that in just 9.22 seconds … so does that mean the Rimac Nevera will obliterate the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport in a drag race?
Well, it must be known that numbers don’t mean everything, it’s all about putting all that power down to the road, side by side, so let’s take a look at the video below and see for ourselves what a real-world test by experienced supercar and hypercar drivers shows us … and to make things even more interesting, they put the Rimac Nevera against their Tesla Plaid after running with the Bugatti:
