Porsche 911 GT3 Dukes It Out Against A BMW M4 CSL On The Race Track

Germany is renowned for producing high-performance vehicles, with strong contenders from Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Porsche, and Audi in the sports car segment. Today, we’ll witness a thrilling competition between two hardcore machines on the race track: the latest Porsche 911 GT3 and the BMW M4 CSL.

This video from AutoTrader shows us the two coupes duke it out on a race track to see which of them is the better driver’s car.  There are some notable differences between the two cars in this battle, though.

The M4 CSL, introduced in May 2022, shares the same S58 engine as the M4 and M4 Competition, but with a power boost to 550 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Weighing 3,582 pounds (1,625 kilos), it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and has a limited top speed of 155 mph.

On the other hand, the 911 GT3 features a 4.0-liter flat-six engine with 510 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK gearbox, and weighs 3,285 pounds (1,490 kilos). With the PDK, it reaches 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, while the manual takes 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is 199 mph.
