Parker JohnstoneÕs personal Acura Spice is the very car he drove to a record number of GTP Lights poles and wins in 1991-92. Originally a 1988 model powered by an ÒIron DukeÓ Pontiac, it crashed and burned in Õ89. Honda bought it and installed a 3.0 V6 from the then-new Acura NSX. This Òtest muleÓ promptly won the Õ91 Rolex 24 at Daytona. ÒWe could run as hard in the race as we did during qualifying,Ó explains Parker.
