Artist Chris Phillips paints a vivid picture of Jackie Stewart during the 1971 Can-Am season.
Lola won the first Can-Am Championship in 1966 with John Surtees driving the T70-Chevrolet; however, from that point on the series evolved over the next four years into the “Bruce and Denny show” with McLaren dominant. In 1971, Lola fielded the T260-Chevrolet driven by none other than Jackie Stewart, and this combination provided McLaren with its stiffest competition throughout the 10 race season.
