Lamborghini Centenario Roadster
The Lamborghini Centenario Roadster was unveiled at the Monterey Car Week. Like the coupe, the Roadster is limited to only 20 units and of course they are all already spoken for. I’ll have to take that $2.27 million and spend it on something else (and I’ll probably need to update our Top 50 Most Expensive Cars list too now that I think about it).
Making its debut at The Quail event and being described by Lamborghini as a tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini. As expected the car is made of full carbon fiber from the monocoque to the body panels and anywhere else the material could work. A new color known as “Argento Centenario” was created exclusively for this model, and the results is a shiny and matte-like finish on the body panels.
The car is powered by a V12, naturally aspirated engine with 770 hp (the most powerful built by Lamborghini ever). Weight to power ratio 2.04 kg/hp so this thing is going to be one of the fastest cars on the planet.
