With the Classic Mini serving as the featured marque of this year’s 14th annual CSRG Charity Challenge, scheduled for the weekend of September 29 through October 1 at Sonoma Raceway, one of the main events will be the Can-Am Mini Challenge, sponsored by Seven Mini Parts. The Challenge is a special tribute event saluting the Classic Mini and those who raced them from the early 1960s to the present day. Only classic race-prepared Minis (above, Jim Hatfield photo) and Mini-powered variants will be accepted, all cars must have a logbook issued by a recognized vintage racing organization, or the SCCA, and all safety requirements must be met.
