FOR SALE: Limited Edition Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series

One of only 25 examples delivered to North America

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series “Project One” edition was created specifically for the 275 customers who had ordered Mercedes’ plug-in hybrid hypercar, originally revealed as a concept in 2017. The car took design cues from the 2019 W10 Formula 1 car, including a two-tone color scheme with teal accents referencing Petronas, Mercedes’ F1 sponsor.

The Project One featured a hybrid petrol-electric powertrain inspired by Formula 1 technology, but production delays meant it didn’t start rolling out until August 2022, by which time it was renamed the Mercedes-AMG ONE.

Despite its $2.72 million price tag, demand far exceeded the planned 275-unit run, but Mercedes chose to cap production to preserve exclusivity. As a gesture for the buyers’ patience, Mercedes offered them an exclusive Black Series Project One variant, available only to those who had pre-ordered the hypercar.
