In October 2015, Ferrari unveiled the limited-edition F12tdf, a lightweight, track-oriented model aimed at affluent enthusiasts and gentleman drivers. Only 799 units were produced from 2016 to 2017. The F12tdf is the sole modern Ferrari to bear the “tdf” designation, last used on the 250 GT TDF, honoring the historic Tour de France grand touring race.
Equipped with the same 6.3-liter V12 engine as the standard F12 but tuned to 770bhp, the F12tdf features extensive use of carbon fiber and Alcantara, reducing weight by 110kg. This results in a 0-100 km/h time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed over 211 mph, with a Fiorano lap time 2 seconds quicker than the standard model.
This 2016 Ferrari F12tdf now available through Sotheby’s Motorsport is painted in solid Rosso Corsa without stripes and includes several premium options such as Adaptive Frontlight System, Alcantara boot carpet, red brake calipers, carbon fiber engine covers, headlight buckets, parcel shelf, and rear bench trim.
It also boasts Rosso Ferrari interior accents, a Ferrari Telemetry system for track performance monitoring, and a range of other high-end features, including a Sport Exhaust System and 20″ forged dark-painted rims.
With fewer than 1,300 miles, this F12tdf is offered with a Ferrari 101-Point Checklist, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title, making it an ideal choice for track enthusiasts.
