A Mystery Model from the Raging Bull
Lamborghini just showed off some special cars at the Monterey Car Week in California, and now it’s teasing something new for Frankfurt. The company tweeted out a picture of the car. There isn’t much you can see from the photo, but it’s definitely a supercar or hypercar of some kind.
The photo shows what we expect is the front of a car. You can see the outline of a double-bubble roof, some seriously angular LED headlights and some curvy shapes in the shadowy picture. Carscoops points out that the car looks a lot like the Terzo Millennio. However, that car has vastly different headlights.
The company made no statement about the car and there’s no official information beyond the caption that came with the image. It said: “Something new is waiting for you. Open your eyes to the future and you’ll see it.” That’s pretty unclear, but it does the job of getting us excited for the car.
Carscoops did some digging around in Lamborghini rumors and found that the car appears to be codenamed LB48H. It could feature a hybrid powertrain with a V12 engine. The horsepower output would likely be around or over 1,000 hp, and the car is rumored to cost over $2.5 million. It will be interesting to see what Lamborghini has up its sleeve.
Something new is waiting for you.
Open your eyes to the future and you’ll see it.
