Tonight the Keno Brothers held their first automotive auction, ‘Rolling Sculpture’, in New York with an impressive list of availble cars. It’s a clear indication that the brother’s of Antique’s Roadshow fame have great knowelge of the blue-chip classic car market.
We don’t know exactly what it takes to get the contacts to sell multiple million-dollar lots in a single evening, but it must be tough. Despite an impressive media push, only 18 of 40 lots found new homes in today in New York.
The listed 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S was part of the brother’s own Historic Motor Car Investment Fund. It was purchased for ?806,720 at Artcurial’s R?tromobile 2014 auction and was sold earlier today for $870,000 USD.
If New York is any indication, then brother’s scope, caliber and prices will reflect those of RM and Gooding & Company in short time.
All the lots with images, descriptions and prices realized are in our gallery.
