Jay Leno Test Drives A Carbon Fiber 1969 Chevy Camaro

Jay Leno had the chance to closely examine and test drive Finale Speed’s latest restomod, a fully carbon fiber 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, shortly after its unveiling in Yukon, Oklahoma. Leno was impressed with the build, describing it as “incredible” and applauding the company’s creation.

The new lightweight panels made from prepreg carbon fiber cured in an autoclave give the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro restomod by Finale Speed an impressive aesthetic while reducing its weight. It also comes with a GM LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 crate motor producing 650 horsepower, a Magnum six-speed manual transmission, and a Ford 9-inch rear end with a limited-slip differential. The car features a unique exhaust system with stainless steel headers and MagnaFlow mufflers, 18-inch Forgeline three-piece wheels, Wilwood brakes, and a thoroughly updated interior.
