It’s Better In Everything Than The 720S: McLaren 750S Review – AutoTrader

The McLaren 750s is the latest addition to McLaren’s lineup, succeeding the iconic 720S. While maintaining a familiar exterior, this new model features significant upgrades. McLaren claims that nearly a third of its components are either new or enhanced, resulting in a lighter, more powerful, faster, and overall more engaging driving experience.

The key transformation lies in its engine, with the 750s delivering an impressive 750 horsepower, a 4% increase from its predecessor. Paired with 800 Nm of torque, this powerhouse achieves 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, a tenth quicker than the 720s. The mid-range acceleration is notably improved, reaching 124 mph in 7.2 seconds, surpassing its predecessor and even outperforming some formidable competitors.

Priced at $324,000 for the coupe and $345,000 for the Spider is it a worthy replacement for the 720S? Rory Reid from AutoTrader drives both the coupe and the Spider version of the 750S to see just how better it is compared to it its predecessor.
