Iso Grifo 7 Litri Gallery
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro while he was at Bertone and engineered by Giotto Bizzarrini, this car is the epitome of a grand touring sports car: fast, luxurious and quite comfortable at speed. This car was the subject of a fully-documented restoration from 1995 through 1998. It retains the original interior and exterior colors, and came equipped from the factory with a 327 cubic-inch, 300-horsepower Corvette engine matched to a Muncie M-21 close-ratio four-speed transmission, 3:31 performance rear end ratio and Borrani wire wheels.

4/10/06 Darren Frank, (Display Ad Director at The Observer), bought and restored a classic Italian sports car, a red 1969 Iso Grifo. For style section, shots of him with the car and some interior and exterior detail.
He bought the car in 1989, when he was 30, and painstakingly restored it from 1995-98.The car was not an impulse buy. For Frank, owning an Iso Grifo like the one his father had before he died of lung cancer in 1970 was a dream come true. Diedra [email protected]
