Is This a New Rolls-Royce Model?

It’s a Mystery Rolls

It appears that Rolls-Royce has a new model in the works. Carscoops was sent an image of a mystery Rolls-Royce from someone. The unnamed tipster told the publication that it’s an upcoming Rolls-Royce that’s different from the current lineup from the high-end luxury brand.

In the image, you can see what looks like the outline of a Rolls-Royce car. The unique roof is what’s really interesting. The roof could be made from the utilization of gullwing doors, a unique Targa-top style system of roof panels, or large glass panels. Also interesting is the fact that there are no wing mirrors, only small rear-facing cameras. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this, but it’s still fairly new tech.

At this time the speculation is that it’s a one-off designed for a specific ultra-wealthy client. Carscoops speculates that it could be as expensive or more than the $12.8 million Rolls-Royce Sweptail that the company showcased at the Concourso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May of 2017.

The person who left the tip with Carscoops suggested the vehicle would have been unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, but wasn’t due to the fact that Monterey Car Week and all the events surrounding it were all canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Still, it’s interesting to see that this car exists, and will likely be revealed at some point.
