Historic F1’s Silverstone Return

After several years away from Silverstone, the FIA Historic Formula One Championship (HFO) is returning to the Northamptonshire circuit in the most spectacular way possible, supporting the British Grand Prix, July 6-8.

HFO Chairman Dan Collins said, “We received an invitation and, of course, jumped at the chance. We have been away from Silverstone for too long, and to be invited to participate at the Grand Prix is just fantastic. I am delighted we have been given this opportunity.”

The entry, expected to exceed 30 cars, will include extinct marques such as Brabham, Arrows, Shadow, March and Tyrrell, alongside period cars from current teams Williams, Lotus and McLaren. These Grand Prix cars raced between 1966 and 1985, and will re-create the spectacle of that legendary three-liter Formula 1 era.

Drivers from all nations affiliated with the FIA holding an international Grade C license or above are eligible to race with HFO and score points toward the Championship. For more information please visit www.historicformulaone.com
