Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival 2015
The 2015 Monterey Car Week glamour has officially begun with Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival. This year a stellar showing of supercars was on site including many top manufacturers with official displays.
For many, the McCall Motorworks Revival at The Jet Center marks the real start of Monterey Car Week. With exotics, hypercars, private jets, military aircraft and even amphibious vehicles this is a scene you need to experience at least once.
This year the show took up two hangars, with over ten automakers participating. Luxury marques like Maserati mixed it up with customizers like Singer. Dozens more modern and classic cars were on hand, most belonging to VIP guests and parked right out with the planes.
The Porsche tinkerers at Singer unveiled their stunning Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. Ford GTs (old ones and new ones) were a huge hit this year. The Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII that looked just as stunning sitting next to the latest models. Some cars never age.
Not to be outdone, the folks at Honda bought along their Honda NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company powered when it was a motorsport powerhouse.
We were pleased to see official displays by Koenigsegg and Pagani which included the Pagani Zonda Revolucion and Koenigsegg One:1.
These great cars and more can be found in our Motorworks Revival 2015 gallery of the event. See Also: Motorworks Revival 2015 gallery | Motorworks Revival 2015 video
