Audi is the focus of today’s Geneva preview because today they are releasing the first official pictures of the second-generation Audi R8.
The new R8 is a stepwise evolution of the original car and uses a 449 kw / 602.1 bhp V10 engine.
Audi also mention V8, etron and GT3 versions of the car which will also likely surface at the Geneva Motor Show.
Alongside the new R8 they will have the Audi prologue Avant a concept car similar to the prologue coupé released at the 2014 LA Auto Show. Both are based on Q7 underpinnings and signal the way forward for future production models.
