Full review on the 2024 Corvette E-Ray

In the video below we get a full review of the new 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, the first-ever hybrid Corvette production model and it gets even better, because of the additional electric motors, this is an all-wheel drive Corvette, and thanks to the 6.2 Liter V8 engine pumping out nearly 500 hp, similar to the regular ICE powered Corvette, but here comes the kicker, there is an additional electric motor powering the front wheels only that brings the total power output to 655 hp, which really increases the ‘off-the-line’ acceleration figures.

Chevrolet calls this a Performance Hybrid, and it sure isn’t a PHEV, you don’t plug in the Corvette E-Ray, instead, you drive it like a normal V8 supercar, but in this case, the batteries get charged during the drive, and while there is a ‘Stealth mode’ on this E-Ray, where you run the car purely on batteries and in silence, but that will get you only 4 Miles of range, which is just enough to leave the house in the morning to go to work without waking up the neighbors, but you can still get 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, making the E-Ray the fastest accelerating Corvette in history.
