The Pagani Zonda Tricolore is one of the most exclusive models in the Grandi Complicazioni series, a collection of one-off concepts and special edition Zondas that represent the peak of performance, technology, and design.
Designed as part of Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni series, which consists of the most exclusive and technically advanced Zondas, the Tricolore was created to honor the 50th anniversary of Italy’s Frecce Tricolori, the country’s elite aerobatic team. Inspired by the team’s jets, its distinctive livery features bare carbon fiber coated in a clear blue lacquer, accented with Italian flag pinstriping.
Mechanically, the Tricolore is based on the Zonda Cinque but features unique modifications. It forgoes the Cinque’s roof-mounted air intake in favor of a vertical fin on the engine cover. It introduces LED running lights below the headlights, a design later adopted by other one-off Zondas. It boasts a 7.3-liter Mercedes-AMG V12, producing 670 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque.
Weighing just 2,668 pounds, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches 124 mph in 9.6 seconds. While equipped with a six-speed automated manual gearbox, Pagani Automobili offers the option to convert it to a traditional manual.
This exceptional Zonda Tricolore is set to be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s, with bidding opening on Monday, February 24, 2025. Given its historical significance, limited production, and pristine condition, it is expected to attract significant interest from collectors worldwide.
