McLaren’s latest supercar, the 750S, is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 producing 740 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 206 mph. Accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, it builds upon the already impressive 720S with refined suspension tuning and a lighter chassis, shedding 66 pounds for even greater agility.
Every 750S is a remarkable machine, but McLaren has taken things further by commemorating its 60th anniversary with a special edition. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has crafted a limited-run 750S 60th Anniversary Edition, paying tribute to the brand’s motorsport legacy—specifically, its achievement of the ‘Triple Crown’ in racing.
One of these exclusive 750S Spider “Triple Crown” editions is currently available through Sotheby’s Motorsport. This particular example is one of just 60 produced worldwide and one of only 26 finished in Monaco White. With only 28 miles on the odometer, it remains in near-factory condition, complete with its original manufacturer’s warranty.
Unique design elements include Triple Crown stripes and a striking 74-84-95 sequence on the rear wing, symbolizing McLaren’s victories at the 1974 Indy 500, 1984 Monaco Grand Prix, and 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. The interior is adorned with commemorative emblems and hidden ‘Easter Eggs’ celebrating McLaren’s history.
This particular 750S is equipped with premium upgrades, including the Track Brake package ($18,050), multiple carbon fiber enhancements, an Electrochromic Roof ($9,100), and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system ($5,400), making it a truly bespoke high-performance masterpiece.
