The Ferrari Monza SP2, a two-seater counterpart to the single-seat SP1, was introduced as part of Ferrari’s exclusive Icona series. Inspired by the classic Barchettas of the 1950s, the SP2 pays homage to Ferrari’s storied past, particularly models like the 166 MM Barchetta and the race-winning 750 and 860 Monza.
This limited-edition model channels the spirit of historic racing, where amateur and professional drivers compete side by side. The SP2 features a minimalist open-air design with no roof or windscreen, staying true to Barchetta tradition, but with modern engineering.
Its body is crafted from lightweight carbon fiber, and it boasts Ferrari’s most powerful naturally aspirated V12 engine—producing 799 hp. A unique innovation, the patented Virtual Wind Shield, was developed to protect the driver from wind impact while preserving the car’s sleek, aerodynamic profile.
This 2020 Ferrari Monza SP2, one of only 499 produced, is available through RM Sotheby’s. It sports a unique livery with a Rosso Corsa stripe accented by Bianco King pinstriping that runs along the driver’s side and continues over the rear speedster hump. The interior reflects this design with a matching stripe on the steering wheel, Nero and Rosso leather seats with Bianco accents, embroidered Cavallinos in Rosso on the headrests, and four-point harnesses in black.
Outfitted with an array of premium options, this Monza SP2 features airbrushed Scuderia shields, Rosso Corsa brake calipers, and 20-inch forged diamond-polished wheels finished in gloss anthracite. Extensive carbon fiber elements include the diffuser, under-door trim, front spoiler, engine bay, air intakes, and wheel caps. Additional highlights include front and rear suspension lifts, parking cameras, and Ferrari’s High Emotion Low Emission system.
Delivered new in France through Charles Pozzi Paris, the sole owner actively drove it in events like the Ferrari Cavalcade and Tour Auto. The car has been regularly serviced and is covered by a maintenance and warranty package valid until June 2025.
