Get the Viper You’ve Always Wanted
Just the other day, I reported on the fact that Dodge managed to sell a couple of new Vipers despite the fact that the car has been out of production since 2017. That got me looking for one to buy and here’s what I found: a 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster VCA Edition for sale at Bring A Trailer.
The car is number six of 50 Viper Club of America Edition cars that were produced for the model year. They were offered to club members only, so they’re quite exclusive. Finished in Viper Race Yellow with a black stripe on the hood, the car is a true sight to behold. The interior is yellow and black as well.
Under the long, goodly hood is the 8.3-liter V10 engine that roars like an angry beast. That engine connects to a chunky six-speed manual gearbox that can handle the robust power coming from those 10 cylinders. The car comes with a yellow hard top, a black soft top, 18-inch and 19-inch polished alloy wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, and unique badging.
This particular car has only 5,400 miles on the odometer. It’s offered with manufacturer’s literature, the window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title. At the time of this writing, the bidding is up to $30,000, which sounds like a steal to me. There are three days left on the auction.
