The Ferrari SF90 is an extraordinary supercar, celebrated for its stunning aesthetics and exhilarating performance. It boasts a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors to produce 1,000 HP. Despite its advanced technology, it maintains a weight of just 1,570 kg. This setup enables lightning-fast acceleration, reaching 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h.
But Ferrari didn’t stop there and so they introduced the SF90 XX Stradale and Spider, developed at Maranello. These variants build on the SF90’s hybrid system, retuning the V8 engine to increase output to 1,030 HP. They feature an 8-speed DCT gearbox derived from the Daytona SP3 and enhanced chassis control systems from the 296 GTB. Ferrari also added a ‘Qualifying’ mode into the SF90 XX. This system maximizes power delivery, enabling the car to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds!
How fast does the SF90 XX go in a straight line against the car that it was based on? That’s what we are about to find out in this drag race video shared on Daniel Abt‘s YouTube channel.
