Ferrari Sergio Production Begins

Today, Ferrari revealed the limited production plans of the Ferrari Sergio, a bespoke 458 Spider made to commemorate the relationship between Ferrari and master coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti.

This car will be produced in just six examples and the shape is largely taken from the Ferrari Sergio concept car released at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Ferrari have had a great relationship with Sergio Scaglietti who produced Ferrari bodies to design from whomever Ferrari chose. In rare cases Scaglietti & C. designed their own bodies including legendary cars such as the 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Coupé Scaglietti, 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport and 1954 Ferrari 750 Monza.
